New Yorkers making less than $58,000 can file their taxes online for free through a joint program of the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs and The Beehive. Assisted online tax preparation is also available. At more than 60 locations, certified volunteers will prepare eligible New Yorkers' returns and help them claim credits.
