New Renewal Lease Guidelines for Rent-Stabilized Apartments The NYC Rent Guidelines Board has released new renewal lease guidelines for rent-stabilized apartments, lofts, and hotels. For renewal leases on apartments and lofts commencing on or after October 1, 2012, and on or before September 30, 2013, the annual adjustment for one-year leases is 2% or $20, whichever is greater, and for two-year leases, 4% or $40, whichever is greater. Rent Guidelines Board Reports The NYC Rent Guidelines Board has released all six research reports of the 2012 season: the Housing Supply Report, the Changes to the Rent Stabilized Housing Stock in NYC in 2011 study, the Price Index of Operating Costs study, the Mortgage Survey Report, the Income and Expense Study, and the Income and Affordability Study.
