Tips for Your Agency > Shipping & Receiving

Reusable Containers

Lots of items that enter or leave your workplace come in cardboard boxes, pallets, crates, etc. Consider the following to reduce waste and minimize expenses:

  • Ask your vendors to use returnable/reusable containers or totes for deliveries. Vendors that regularly deliver to your workplace may be receptive to back-hauling reusable containers, such as pallets, plastic totes, racks, or trays.
  • If your workplace ships items, consider using reusable containers or totes. See how Off-Track Betting and Hudson News saved considerable amounts of money by switching from corrugated cardboard boxes to reusable totes.
